Well, today here in Guatemala the Ground Hog would definitely have seen his shadow. It is a clear, sunny, warm day. The cold wind of January has quit blowing and we are heading into the warmest time of year here.
We have had a pretty quiet week. We served our normal shifts at the temple and even got to attend our home ward for church on Sunday, no conference assignment. Most of the other missionaries are trying to recover from colds but we have been healthy. We are being so blessed. Thank you for your prayers in our behalf. We continue to love the opportunities that we have here to serve in the Temple Presidency and get to know the obreros better. We do miss getting to perform all of the ordinances daily, but we get a chance every now and then to help when we are short of obreros. Our evening shifts continue to struggle with not enough obreros but we see miracles daily as the needs of the patrons are met. We can testify that the Temple is the House of the Lord. This is His work and He works miracles to get it done. What a blessing to be part of His work.
We love you all. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Dad and Mom, Grandpa and Grandma, Lon and Nancy
PS Guess I had better send at least one photo today. As we were driving to get a few groceries, we saw this truck loaded with empty plastic bottles. They really know how to pile on the garbage here.
Love ya and hope you have a great day!
